About
Karen Hammack
I am a licensed clinical psychologist, primarily specializing in couples treatment. After obtaining my B.A. from Vanderbilt University and my Master's Degree at Columbia University, I moved to Oxford, MS for my Ph.D (at the University of Mississippi). My services are web-based, and I have been utilizing telehealth technologies for the better part of the past 8 years. I believe this increases access to evidence based treatment, which should be widely available.
Experience
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
I began my training over 20 years ago, with my Master's degree in Psychology - always having a passion for working with families. As I developed in my work with children, I saw that the couples relationship is vitally important to the health and well being of the family, and shifted my focus in that direction. Not only do I practice couples psychology full time, but I also spend a large portion of time training others - in consultation, and in supervision of pre-doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows - emphasizing my commitment to strengthening families.
